Meet Geisha, a vessel unlike any other, born in humble origins but designed for a remarkable purpose. In her youth, she embarked on a journey quite unlike any other fishing boat – her mission, to brave the tempestuous seas, withstand typhoons and tsunamis, and return with the bounties of the ocean’s fertile womb, primarily the prized sushi-grade tuna.

Originally, she was fashioned as a long-liner fishing boat, equipped with over 100 kilometers of satellite-connected lines, a creation by an Australian shipowner destined for the Tasmanian waters. However, the cunning tuna had other plans, and they sought refuge in the distant waters of South Africa. After several fruitless expeditions, the fishing boat met its financial demise, a bankrupt end to its aspirations.

But destiny had a different plan for this intrepid vessel. In 2004, Geisha’s path intersected with two adventurous souls, armed with just a few words of English and a burning desire to find the elusive white boat that had captured their imaginations. There she lay in Australia, forsaken, her potential hidden beneath a veneer of forlorn ironing boards. Her appearance did not predispose her to her future purpose, or so it seemed.

Rescued from obscurity, a transformation was her only salvation. A year-long battle against the Singapore shipyard ensued, leading to the decision never to set foot in such a place again. Geisha set sail, embarking on her maiden long-distance voyage to Burma. Her thirst for adventure was insatiable, and she embraced her new role wholeheartedly, revealing her true character and igniting the spirit of exploration.

A year later, defying all odds, she found herself in another shipyard, cut in half, and reborn as a vessel reborn with a new section, six meters longer, extending over three levels, her weight doubled to 300 tons. Geisha’s size had seemingly doubled, and she was now equipped to fulfill our every desire, no matter how simple.

From the break of dawn to the quiet of night, Geisha basks in her newfound purpose, to entice, enchant, and create moments of ecstasy. Bare, with her seductive white makeup accentuated by the ink-black accents, she reveals her raison d’être, her supreme art: the Art of Suggestion, an endless source of ecstasy.
